Quick Start Guide
Compatibility
OSBooster requires a Power Macintosh computer with MacOS 7.6.1 or above. The Appearance Manager must be installed in systems prior to MacOS 8.0 (it is required by all versions of MacOS 8). OSBooster works best when used with an extensions manager utility. OSBooster supports Apple's Extensions Manager and Cassady & Greene's Conflict Catcher. OSBooster works equally well with both of these extensions managers. However, you will need to do more of the initial configuration yourself if you are using Conflict Catcher.
Installation
To get the most benefit from using OSBooster, you will need to read all of this manual. However, if you are anxious to get started with OSBooster, you need to follow one of these sets of instructions depending on which extensions manager you use:
